Black ★ Rock Shooter

I've been meaning to watch this one for the longest time, I finally ended up doing so. If you're looking for a short anime to watch that has a more profound story than can be expected at first, give it a try.

It's only 8 Episodes long, plus a 50 Minute OVA. Originally, I believed it was just BRS fighting a whole bunch of other people. While that does happen, BRS herself isn't technically the main focus of the show.

The ones whom do the fighting are Alternate World versions of just the normal everyday characters that are introduced at the start. These alternate selves bear the burden of sorrow, pain, grief, and any other negative emotions of their "Real World" selves. While this does ease the pain on the "Real World" selves, the only true way for them to be rid of their pain is for their Alternate Selves to die in battle.

In short, I enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

P.S. - The school counselor really comes off as a bitch, she's pretty hate-able to begin with.

Ok this site is pretty much dying so I'm thinking I should shut it down. Even so, I was talking to Thor today and I came up with the idea to make a facebook group... if you like the idea say yay, if you don't then say nay. If you don't reply I'll take it as a nay. Just tell me what you think.

As you may have noticed, I've made some changes around the site. Mainly, the addition of the portal page with the Xat chat on it, other than that, on the forum i've added some sidebars.

just let me know your opinions on this and i'll try to make it better as time goes on.
